Welcome, Murano Island

Giardini

Design by Beniamino Mandruzzato

Inspired by exuberant Venetian gardens, these decorative mouth-blown pieces are hand-sculpted by Master Beniamino Mandruzzato and his son Luigi Mandruzzato. The Mandruzzato family has worked with Murano glass for more than seven generations. The artisanal works are always painted with traditional Venetian decorations, on the vases, chandeliers, plates, and bowls. Beniamino Mandruzzato selects any changes for the new works and has developed the Moleria technique with his son Luigi.

Beniamino Mandruzzato

The Giardini collection is the result of several years of research,

capturing the charm of past creations without appearing

old-fashioned.

The skill of Alessandro Mandruzzato’s great-grandfather  Beniamino showcases his unique personality in the handmade decoration of "everything" on the sides of the glasses, bowls, or centerpieces. These are a real technical feat, taking about 28 hours of work for each piece in the collection. The collection is the result of several years of research, capturing the charm of past creations without appearing old-fashioned. Tradition and avant-garde are reconciled in the same style.

Today, Beniamino’s great-grandson Alessandro Mandruzzato fuses aspects of baroque design with the stylized forms of the Mandruzzato family in the Giardini Collection.
